HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-73-02751 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 ti 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 -0 31 32 33 34 35 36 RHT/cc 3/20/73 '73 PAR 46 PM 4: 4 z RESOLUTION NO. 7. -, z Y A RESOLUTION GRANTING A "CONDITIONAL USE", AS PROVIDED IN ORDINANCE NO. 6871, ARTICLE V, SECTION 1(6)(f), TO PERMIT CONSTRUCTION OF BEDROOM ADDITION TO NON -CONFORMING SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE, BEING ONE OF TWO SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCES ON N 5' LOT 21, ALL OF LOT 22, AND S 22' OF LOT 23, BLOCK 4, DOUGLAS 7TH COMMERCIAL CENTER AMD (25-24), LOCATED AT 1061 N.W. 35TH AVENUE, ZONED R-1 (ONE -FAMILY) DISTRICT. WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Miami, at its meeting held on March 12, 1973, passed and adopted by a 9 to 0 vote its Resolution No. 73-50, recommending granting a "conditional use" as provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article V, Section 1(6) (f), as hereinafter set forth; and this Commission deems it advisable to the public convenience and welfare and finds that the use will not be detrimental or injurious to the character or the development of the immediate neighborhood; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the application for a"conditional use" as provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article V, Section 1(6)(f), to permit construction of bedroom addition to non -conforming single family residence, being one of two single family residences, on N 5' Lot 21, all of Lot 22, and S 22' of Lot 23, Block 4, DOUGLAS 7TH COMMERCIAL CENTER AMD (25-24), located at 1061 N.W. 35th Avenue, site zoned R-1 (One -Family) District, be and the same is hereby granted. Section 2. This conditional use shall become null and void unless the use is commenced within six months of the effective date of this Resolution. Upon 3 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 ;0 31 32 33 34 35 application, the City Manager may, after review and determination that substantial progress has been achieved by the applicant in terms of project planning, extend the expiration date of the conditional use for an additional period of time not to exceed one (1) year. Said extension request shall be filed with the City Manager two (2) weeks prior to the expiration date of the initial six (6) months effective period of the conditional use. W. 35th Avenue N 5' Lot 21, all of Lot 22, and S 22' of Lot 23, Block 4, DOUGLAS 7TH COMMERCIAL CENTER AMD (25-24) Applicant: Enrique Alvarez The Miami Planning Board, at its meeting of March 12, 1973, Item #7, following an advertised Hearing, adopted Resolution No. 73-50 by a 9 to 0 vote recommending "Conditional Use" as listed in Ordinance No. 6871, ARTICLE V, Section 1 (6) (f), to permit construction of bedroom addition to non -conforming single family residence; being one of two single family residences on lot, situated on N 5' Lot 21, all of Lot 22, and S 22' of Lot 23, Block 4, DOUGLAS 7TH COMMERCIAL CENTER AMD (25-24), located at 1061 N. W. 35th Avenue; zoned R-1 (One -Family). One objection was received in the mail. A RESOLUTION to provide for this "Conditional Use" has been prepared by the City Attorney's office and submitted for consideration of the City Commission.
