A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED
FEBRUARY 20, 1973, FOR FURNISHING A 16
MM ROTARY MICROFILMER, WITH ATTACHMENTS,
FROM BELL & HOWELL BUSINESS EQUIPMENT
GROUP, FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT,
AT A TOTAL COST OF $3,210.00; AND AUTHOR-
IZING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE
PURCHASING DIVISION TO ISSUE A PURCHASE
ORDER THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, bids were received by the City Manager and
City Clerk on February 20, 1973, for furnishing a 16 mm
rotary microfilmer, with attachments, for use by the
Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of
BELL & HOWELL BUSINESS EQUIPMENT GROUP is the lowest bid
(acceptable) and recommends that said bid be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid of BELL & HOWELL BUSINESS
EQUIPMENT GROUP for furnishing a 16 mm rotary microfilmer,
with attachments,for use by the Police Department, at a
total cost of $3,210.00, be and the same is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
instruct the Purchasing Division of the City of Miami to
issue a purchase order for the item provided in Section 1
hereof.
