A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF
FINANCE TO PAY TO JERRY LEWIS, WITHOUT
THE ADMISSION OF LIABILITY, THE SUM OF
$106.95, IN FULL AND COMPLETE SETTLEMENT
OF ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS AGAINST THE
CITY OF MIAMI, UPON THE EXECUTION OF
A RELEASE RELEASING THE CITY OF MIAMI
FROM ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, JERRY LEWIS filed a claim against the
City of Miami for damage incurred in the amount of $106.95
by the theft of his Schwinn 10 speed bicycle, Serial Number
HG056044, from the City of Miami bicycle pound, on or about
April 19, 1972; and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the office
of the City Attorney and said office recommends that this
claim be settled for the sum of $106.95;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is
hereby authorized to pay to JERRY LEWIS, without the
admission of liability, the sum of $106.95 in full and
complete settlement of all claims and demands against
the City of Miami, upon the execution of a release releasing
the City of Miami from all claims and demands.
