A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF
FINANCE TO PAY TO JOSEPH HARRIS AND JOAN
HARRIS, HIS WIFE, WITHOUT THE ADMISSION
OF LIABILITY, THE SUM OF $57..55 IN FULL
AND COMPLETE SETTLEMENT OF ALL CLAIMS
AND DEMANDS AGAINST THE CITY OF MIAMI,
UPON THE EXECUTION OF A RELEASE RELEASING
THE CITY OF MIAMI FROM ALL CLAIMS AND
DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, JOSEPH HARRIS AND JOAN HARRIS, HIS WIFE,
filed a claim against the City of Miami for damage incurred
in the amount of $57.55, when their automobile struck a hole.
in the pavement of N. E. 4th Avenue South of N. E. 71st Street,
in the City of Miami, on or about November 11, 1972; and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the office
of the City Attorney and said office recommends that this
claim be settled for the sum of $57.55:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is
hereby authorized to pay to JOSEPH HARRIS AND JOAN HARRIS,
HIS WIFE, without the admission of liability, the sum of $57.55
in full and complete settlement of all claims and demands
against the City of Miami, upon the execution of a release
releasing the City of Miami from all claims and demands.
