RESOLUTION NO. 73 .02D7
A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID RECEIVED MARCH 20,
1973 OF C. A. DAVIS, INC. IN THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT
OF $89,300 FOR THE ORANGE BOWL - SPIRAL RAMPS
REPAIRS (PHASE 2) -- 1973; AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, bids were received March 20, 1973 for the ORANGE
BOWL - SPIRAL RAMPS REPAIRS (PHASE 2) - 1973; and
WHEREAS, funds to cover the cost of this and other work
were appropriated by Ordinance No.81210, adopted February 22,
1973; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of C. A.
Davis, Inc. in the estimated amount of t89,300 is the lowest
bid (acceptable) and recommends that contract be awarded to
said company;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI , FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid of C. A. Davis, Inc., received
March 20, 1973 for the ORANGE BOWL - SPIRAL RAMPS REPAIRS
(PI -SASE 2) - 1973, namely Base Bid of Proposal, based on lump
sum bid, at a tota]estimated cost of t89,300 be accepted.
Section 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract in behalf of The City of Miami
for the ORANGE BOWL - SPIRAL RAMP REPAIRS (PHASE2) - 1973.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22.. day of 1973.
