RESOLUTION NO. 73 -2 03
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BIDS RE-
CEIVED FEBRUARY 20, 1973, OF HECTOR
TURF & GARDEN, INC. AND DE BRA TURF
AND EQUIPMENT COMPANY, FOR FURNISH-
ING MOWING EQUIPMENT, AND AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO IN-
STRUCT THE PURCHASING AGENT OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI TO ISSUE PURCHASE ORDERS,
AS REQUIRED, AFTER FIRST HAVING DE-
TERMINED THAT FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE.
WHEREAS, bids were received on February 20, 1973 by
the City Manager and City Clerk for furnishing Mowing Equipment
for the City of Miami Department of Parks and Recreation, of
the types and prices listed below; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports the bids of the
following Companies are the lowest and best bids for the type
of equipment listed and recommends that same be accepted:
ITEMS COMPANY PRICE
Lawn Mower Grinder Hector Turf & Garden, Inc. $695.00
Fairway Mower DeBra Turf & Garden Company $2,395.00
Vacuum Sweeper DeBra Turf & Garden Company $2,355.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Saction 1. The bids received February 20, i973 of
Hector Turf & Garden, Inc. and DeBra Turf & Equipment Company, for
furnishing Mowing Equipment for the City of Miami Department of
Park: and Recreation, of the following items and prices indicated
below:
ITEMS COMPANY PRICE
Lawn Mower Grinder Hector Turf & Garden, Inc. $695.00
Fairway Mower DeBra Turf & Equipment Company $2,395.00
Vacuum Sweeper DeBra Turf & Equipment Company $2,355.00
be and the same are hereby accepted.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to instruct the Purchasing Agent of the City of Miami
to issue purchase orders, as required, for the purchasing of
the items described in Section 1 above, after first having
determined that funds are available.
