AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3-51
OF THE MIAMI CITY CODE BY DELETING
SECTION 3-51 IN ITS ENTIRETY AND
ENACTING A NEW SECTION 3-51 WHICH
PROVIDES FOR THE SUBMITTING OF
QUARTERLY REPORTS INSTEAD OF WEEKLY
REPORTS TO THE CHIEF OF POLICE
UNDER A NIGHT CLUB LICENSE; AND
BY REPEALING ALL LAWS IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Section 3-51 of the Miami City Code
is amended by deleting Section 3-51 in its entirety and
a new Section 3-51 is enacted to read as follows:
Sec. 3-51. Reports to police
department by managers,
etc. -Required; when due.
That any person owning, managing or operating
an establishment or place of business within
the city wherein beer, wine or intoxicating
beverages are sold under a night club license,
for consumption on the premises, shall, on
or before January 1, April 1, July 1, and
October 1, of each year, make quarterly reports
in writing, to be signed by such manager,
owner or operator and sworn to by him, to the
chief of police, listing the names of the
persons employed and persons performing services
under a contract or otherwise in such establishment
during the past quarter, stating their sex,
address, age and the nature of their duties.
Section 2. That all laws, or parts of laws, in
conflict herewith, be and the same are hereby
repealed.
Section 3. It is declared to be the legislative
intent of this body that if any section, subsection,
sentence, phrase or provision of this Ordinance is held
inval
id, the remainder of this Ordinance shall not be affected.

in said Dade County, Florida, for a period of one year
next preceding the first publication of the attached
copy of advertisement; and affiant further says that
she has neither paid nor promised any person, firm
or corporation any discount, rebate, commission or
refund for the purpose of securing this advertisement
for publication In the said newspaper.
