A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE PROPER
OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF MIAMI TO EXECUTE A TWO-
YEAR EXTENSION OF THE EXISTING AGREEMENT BETWEEN
GEORGE MC LEAN AND THE CITY OF MIAMI FOR USE OF
THE DINNER KEY AUDITORIUM, SUBJECT TO A 60-DAY
CANCELLATION NOTICE CLAUSE IN THE EVENT THE CITY
SHOULD REQUIRE THIS PROPERTY FOR THE IMPLEMENTA-
TION OF THE DINNER KEY MASTER PLAN; SUBJECT FURTHER
TO THE REMOVAL OF AN EXISTING RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE
ON SAID PREMISES WITHIN A PERIOD NOT TO EXCEED 30
DAYS FROM THIS DATE; AND SUBJECT FURTHER TO A
STIPULATION THAT UTILITY BILLS ARE TO BE PAID BY
MR. MC LEAN WITHIN 5 DAYS OF THE TIME THEY ARE
SUBMITTED TO HIM BY THE CITY, AND FURTHER PROVID-
ING THAT IF SAID UTILITY BILLS ARE NOT PAID IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THIS PROVISION THE UTILITIES WILL
BE DISCONNECTED
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
That the proper officials of the City of Miami be, and
they are, hereby authorized and directed to execute a two-year
extension of the existing agreement between George McLean and
the City of Miami for use of the Dinner Key Auditorium, subject to
a 60-day cancellation notice clause in the event the City should
require this property for the implementation of the Dinner Key
Master Plan; subject further to the removal of an existing resi-
dential structure presently stored on said premises within a
period not to exceed 30 days from this date; and subject to a
further stipulation that utility bills are to be paid by Mr.
McLean within five days of the time they are submitted to him by
the City, and further providing that if said utility bills are not
paid in accordance with this provision the utilities will be dis-
connected.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of March, 1973.
