A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK OF
ROSSER ELECTRIC COMPANY, INC. FOR THE MIAMARINA
- LIGHTING IMPROVEMENTS AT A TOTAL COST OF
$30,062.86 AND AUTHORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT OF
$3,542.56
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed and
Rosser Electric Company, Inc. has furnished the required
documents certifying that all bills for labor, materials,
etc., have been paid in full in connection with the contract
dated July 26, 1972 between The City of Miami and Rosser
Electric Company, Inc. for the MIAMARINA - LIGHTING IMPROVE-
MENTS, and
WHEREAS, due to an increase in the scope and amount of
the work to provide a better quality of lighting at two
additional entrances, the actual cost of the construction
amounted to $30,062.86, an increase of $595.86 over the
original contract amount of $29,467.00 and the additional
cost can be paid from the original amount of monies allocated
for this work, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works recommends that
the completed work be accepted and final payment made to
Rosser Electric Company, Inc.,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The July 26, 1972 contract with Rosser
Electric Company, Inc. for MIAMARINA - LIGHTING IMPROVEMENTS
be and the same is hereby increased in scope and amount by

$595.86 for a revised contract total amount of $30,062.86.
Section 2. The completed work performed by Rosser
Electric Company, Inc. under contract dated July 26, 1972
for the MIAMARINA - LIGHTING IMPROVEMENTS is hereby accepted
at a total cost of $30,062.86.
Section 3. The proper officials of The City of Miami
are hereby authorized and directed to pay Rosser Electric
Company, Inc. a balance of $3,542.56 as full and final
payment for all work performed and all materials furnished
in connection with the contract for the MIAMARINA - LIGHTING
IMPROVEMENTS.
