A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK
OF MARKS BROTHERS CO. FOR THE N. E. FIRST
AVENUE STORM SEWER PROJECT - 1972 AT A
TOTAL COST OF $93,933.45 AND AUTHORIZING
A FINAL PAYMENT OF $8,754.08.
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated July 24, 1972
between the City of Miami and Marks Brothers Co. for the N. E.
FIRST AVENUE STORM SEWER PROJECT - 1972; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed
and Marks Brothers Co. has furnished the required documents
certifying that all bills for labor, materials, etc., have been
paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works recommends
that the completed work be accepted and final payment made to
Marks Brothers Co.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the completed work performed by Marks
Brothers Co. under contract dated July 24, 1972 for the N. E.
FIRST AVENUE STORM SEWER PROJECT - 1972 be accepted at a total
cost of $93,933.45.
Section 2. That the proper officials of The City of
Miami be authorized and directed to pay Marks Brothers Co. a
balance of $8,754.08 as frill and final payment for all work per-
formed and all materials furnished in connection with the contract
for the N. E. FIRST AVENUE STORM SEWER PROJECT - 1972.
