A RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR FURNISHING
AND DELIVERING WORK UNIFORMS, AS REQUIRED,
TO JULES BROTHERS UNIFORM, INC. FOR THE
PERIOD MARCH 1, 1973 TO FEBRUARY 28, 1974.
AT THE PRICES PER THE ATTACHED LIST; AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT
THE PURCHASING DIVISION TO ISSUE PURCHASE
ORDERS, AS REQUIRED, AFTER FIRST HAVING
DETERMINED THAT FUNDS BUDGETED FOR THIS
PURPOSE ARE AVAILABLE.
WHEREAS, bids were received February 6, 1973 for
furnishing Work Shirts and Work Trousers to employees
authorized to receive same; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid
of JULES BROTHERS UNIFORM, INCbe accepted as the lowest
and best bid (acceptable);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid of JULES BROTHERS UNIFORM,
INC. for furnishing and delivering work uniforms, as required,
for the period March 1, 1973 to February 28, 1974, at the
prices per the attached list, be and the same is hereby
accepted.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
instruct the Purchasing Division to issue Purchase Orders,
as required, after first having determined that funds budgeted
for this purpose are available.
