RESOLUTION NO. 7 .-,/♦
A RESOLUTION TERMINATING THE CONTRACTS
OF R. HARRIS TURNER, L. JOSEPH HOFFMAN
AND FRANK H. WESTON AS OF MIDNIGHT
FEBRUARY 4, 1973.
WHEREAS, R. HARRIS TURNER, L. JOSEPH HOFFMAN and.
FRANK H. WESTON are currently under contract with the City of
Miami to provide legal services to the City of Miami as Special
Counsel; and
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Miami, as recently
amended, now provides for Assistant City Attorneys to be in
the unclassified service; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best interest of
the City of Miami to place the above named special counsel in
the unclassified service of the City of Miami as Assistant City
Attorneys - Unclassified; and
WHEREAS, R. HARRIS TURNER, L. JOSEPH HOFFMAN and
FRANK H. WESTON have agreed that their contracts may be terminated
as of midnight February 4, 1973 so that they may become Assistant
City Attorneys - Unclassified as of February 5,.1973;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The contracts of R. HARRIS TURNER, L.
JOSEPH HOFFMAN and FRANK H. WESTON be and the same are hereby
terminated as of midnight February 4, 1973.
