A RESOLUTION CONSENTING TO THE CON-
STRUCTION OF CERTAIN EXTENSIONS,
ENLARGEMENTS AND IMPROVEMENTS OF
THE SEAPORT PROPERTIES AT THE PORT
OF MIAMI

WHEREAS, Resolution No. R-1328-72, adopted by the Board
of County Commissioners of Dade County on September 7, 1972 ap-
proved the addition of certain extensions, enlargements and improve-
ments to the Port of Miami Development Program "B", Phase III; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends the addition of such
extensions, enlargements and improvements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the
City of Miami, Florida:
Section 1. The construction of the following extensions,
enlargements or improvements of the Seaport Properties are hereby
consented to:
Phase III
Project Cost
"Local Share" of costs for additional
dredging of the Federal Channel for
Miami Harbor, as previously pledg'd
by Dade County $1,000,000
Cost of additional dredging for
County -owned channel on the north
side of the new Port of Miami
(Dodge Island) $1,500,000
Cost of additional dredging for
County -owned channel on the east
and south sides of the new Port of
Miami (First Step) $ 700,000
and the payments under the provisions of Section 3(c) of the Joint
Resolution of the City and County mentioned in the preambles of the
Trust Agreement, dated June 1, 1961, securing Seaport Revenue Bonds
of the County will be in accordance with said Section=41c)..postponed

until after the payment of the Seaport Revenue Bonds of the County,
including the Seaport Revenue Bonds (Series F).
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to send a
certified copy of this resolution to the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Dade County, Florida.
Section 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect immediately upon its passage.
