A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION EXPRESS-
ING SUPPORT OF THE DADE CENTER OF FLORIDA
ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY'S APPLICATION FOR A
FEDERAL GRANT FOR THE NATIONAL ENDOWMENT
FOR HUMANITIES SPECIAL PROJECTS.
WHEREAS, Federal funds are being made available for
the National Endowment for Humanities Special Projects in relation
to scholars and laymen in the community; and
WHEREAS, this project is directed towards the
participation in the Bi-Centennial Celebration;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Commission hereby expresses
support of the Dade Center of Florida Atlantic University's
Application for a Federal Grant for the National Endowment for
Humanities Special Projects.
