A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO SUBMIT A FEDERAL GRANT APPLICATION TO
THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, LAW ENFORCEMENT
ADMINISTRATION, TO INITIATE A PROJECT
ENTITLED "MA AGE'.F`iT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM"
SUPPORTED WITH $58,335 IN LEAA FUNDS, AND
FURTHER AUT'r:ORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE CONTRACTS AND AGREEMENTS
THEREBY.
BE IT. RESOLVED BY THE COM4ISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
submit a Federal Grant Application to the Department of
Justice, Law Enforcement Administration, to inititate a
.project entitled "Management Development Program".
Section 2. The City Manager is further authorized
to accept the Grant and execute contrts and agreements
necessary to implement the project in anticipation of
approval of this program, and subject to receipt of the
Federal funds.
