HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-73-0090RESOLUTION NO. 73-90 A RESOLUTION GRANTING A "CONDITIONAL USE", AS PROVIDED IN ORDINANCE NO. 6871, ARTICLE VIII, SECTION 1 (11) (c), TO PERMIT EXPANSION AND ADDITION TO NATIONAL PARKINSON FOUNDATION STRUCTURE ON LOTS 15 THRU 18 AND W 40' LOTS 13 AND 14, BLOCK 21, HIGHLAND PARK (2-13), LOCATED AT 1501 N. W. 9TH AVENUE, IN CONJUNCTION WITH VARIANCES BEING CONCURRENTLY PETITIONED FOR, SITE ZONED R-4 (MEDIUM DZNSITY MULTIPLE) DISTRICT.,SUBJECT TO CERTAIN TERMS AND COINDI TI ONS WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Miami, at its meeting held ON January 22, 1973, passed .and adopted by a 7 to 1 vote its Resolution No. 73-14, recommending granting a "conditional use" as provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article VIII, Section 1 (11) (c), as hereinafter set forth; and this Commission deems it advisable to the public convenience and welfare and finds that the use will not be detrimental or injurious to the character or the development of the immediate neighborhood; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEI) BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the application for a"conditional use" as provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article VIII, Section 1 (11) (c), to permit expansion and addition to National Parkinson Foundation Structure on Lots 15 thru 18 and W 40' of Lots 13 and 14, Block 21, HIGHLAND PARK (2-13), located at 1501 N. W. 9th Avenue, in conjunction with variances being co:acurrently petitioned for, site zoned R-4 (Medium Density Multiple), be and the same is hereby granted, subject to dedication of five-foot (5') strip of land along the property abutting N.U. 9th Avenue to the City of Miami for street purposes. 16173 Z310 1 Section 2. This conditional use shall become null and void unless the use is commenced within six months of the effective date of this Resolution. Upon application, the City Manager may, after review and determination that substantial progress has been achieved by the applicant in terms of project planning., extend the expiration date of the conditional use for an additional period of time not to exceed one (1) year. Said extension request shall be filed with the City Manager two (2) weeks prior to the expiration date of the initial six (6) months effective period of the conditional use. W. 9th Avenue Lots 15 thru 18 and W 40' Lots 13 and 14, Block 21, HIGHLAND PARK (2-13) Applicant: National Parkinson Foundation The Miami Planning Board, at its meeting of January 22, 1973, Item #4 (a), following an advertised Hearing, adopted Resolution No. 73-14 by a 7 to 1 vote (one member absent), recommending "Conditional Use" as listed in Ordinance No. 6871, ARTICLE VIII, Section 1 (11) (c), to permit expansion and addition to National Parkinson Foundation structure on Lots 15 thru 18 and W 40' Lots 13 and 14, Block 21, HIGHLAND PARK (2-13), located at 1501 N. W. 9th Avenue, zoned R-4 (Medium Density Multiple), in conjunction with Variances being concurrently petitioned for. No objections were received in the mail.
