A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF
FINANCE TO PAY TO SCHOFIELD FLEMING
WITHOUT THE ADMISSION OF LIABILITY, THE
SUM OF $100.00 IN FULL AND COMPLETE
SETTLEMENT OF ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS AGAINST
THE CITY OF MIAMI, UPON THE EXECUTION OF A
RELEASE RELEASING THE CITY OF MIAMI FROM ALL
CLAIMS AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, SCHOFIEL'D FLEMING filed a claim against the
City of Miami for damage incurred in the amount of $100.00
for damage to personal property at 540 N. W. 17th Street,
in the City of Miami, resulting from activity by City police
officers on or about October 3, 1971; and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the office
of the City Attorney and said office recommends that this
claim be settled for the sum of $100.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is
hereby authorized to pay to SCHOFIELD FLEMING, without the
admission of liability, the sum of $100.00, in full and
complete settlement of all claims and demands against the
City of Miami, upon the execution of a release releasing
the City of Miami from all
