A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF
FINANCE TO PAY TO ROBERT C. DEVEAUX
WITHOUT THE ADMISSION OF LIABILITY, THE
SUM OF $238.00 IN FULL AND COMPLETE
SETTLEMENT OF ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS AGAINST
THE CITY OF MIAMI, UPON THE EXECUTION OF A
RELEASE RELEASING THE CITY OF MIAMI FROM ALL
CLAIMS AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, ROBERT C. DEVEAUX filed a claim against the
City of Miami for damage incurred in the amount of $238.00
resulting from the death of his dog allegedly caused by City
employees at or near N. W. 15th Street and N. W. 3rd Avenue,
'in the City of Miami on June 19, 1971; and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the office
of the City Attorney and said office recommends that this
claim be settled for the sum of $238.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is
hereby authorized to pay to ROBERT C. DEVEAUX without
the admission of liability, the sum of $238.00, in full and
complete settlement of all claims
