A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF
FINANCE TO PAY TO HILDA GIMINEZ, AND HER
HUSBAND, PEDRO GIMINEZ, WITHOUT THE ADMISSION
OF LIABILITY, THE SUM OF $3,000.00 IN FULL
AND COMPLETE SETTLEMENT OF ALL CLAIMS AND
DEMANDS AGAINST THE CITY OF MIAMI, UPON
THE EXECUTION OF A RELEASE RELEASING THE
CITY OF MIAMI FROM ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, HILDA GIMINEZ filed a claim against the
City of Miami for damage incurred in the amount of $3,000.00
from injuries, allegedly as the result of a fall on a City
sidewalk at 470 N. W. 30th Place, in the City of Miami, on
March 25, 1972; and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the office
of the City Attorney and said office recommends that this
claim be settled for the sum of $3,000.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and ,ie is
hereby authorized to pay to HILDA GIMINEZ, and her husband,
PEDRO GIMINEZ, without the admission of liability, the sum
of $3,000.00, in full and complete settlement of all claims
and demands against the City of Miami, upon the execution
of a release releasing the City of Miami from all claims and
demands.
