A RESOLUTION CLOSING, VACATING, ABANDONING
AND DISCONTINUING FOR PUBLIC USE THAT
PORTION OF N. W. 9TH STREET BETWEEN N.W.
5TH AND 7TH AVENUES, AND N. W. 6TH AVENUE
BETWEEN N. W. 8TH AND 11TH STREETS,
IN ACCORDANCE WITH TENTATIVE PLAT #762-C,
DESIGNATED AS "CULMER PARK SUBDIVISION
NO,, 1", SUBJECT TO RELOCATION, ALTERATION
OR INSTALLATION OF ANY UTILITIES AND
EASEMENTS, AND SUBJECT TO RECORDING
FORMAL PLAT.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board of the
City of Miami, •at its meeting of December 18, 1972,
passed and adopted by a 8 to 0 vote its Resolution No.
72-279, recommending the closing, vacating, abandoning
and discontinuing for public use that portion of
N. W. 9th Street between N. W. 5th and 7th Avenues, and
N. W. 6th Avenue between N. W. 8th and llth Streets, in
accordance with Tentative Plat #762-C, as hereinafter
set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the portion of N. W. 9th Street
between N. W. 5th and 7th Avenues and N. W. 6th Avenue
between N. W. 8th and llth Streets, in accordance with
Tentative Plat #762-C, designated as "CULMER PARK
SUBDIVISION NO. 1", subject to relocation, alteration
or installation of any utilities and easements, be

and the same is hereby closed, vacated, abandoned and
discontinued for public use, submect to recording
formal plat.

Gentlemen:
The Miami Planning Board, at its meeting of December 18, 1972, Item
#4, following an advertised Hearing, adopted Resolution No. 72-279
By an 8 to 0 vote (one member absent), recommending the official
vacation and closure of N. W. 9th Street between N. W. 5th and 7th
Avenues, and, N. W. 6th Avenue between N. W. 8th and Ilth Streets,
in conjunction and accordance with Tentative Plat #762-C - "CULMER
PARK SUBDIVISION NO. 1".
No objections were received in the mail.
A RESOLUTION to provide for this Street Closure has been prepared
by the City Attorney's office and submitted for consideration of
the City Commission.
