A RESOLUTION GRANTING A "CONDITIONAL
USE" AS PROVIDED IN ORDINANCE NO. 6871,
ARTICLE VIII, SECTION 1 (11) (e), TO
PERMIT PRIVATE CLUB KNOWN AS "BANYAN
BAY CLUB" TO BE LOCATED ON TENTATIVE
PLAT #793-A - "MIAMI CLUB APARTMENTS",
LOCATED AT 703 N. E. 63RD STREET,
ZONED R-4 (MEDIUM DENSITY MULTIPLE).
SUBJECT TO MEMBERSHIP BEING RESTRICTED
TO RESIDENTS OF THE -APARTMENT COMPLEX
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Board of
the City of Miami, at its meeting held on November 20,
1972, passed and adopted by a 8 to 1 vote its Resolution
No. 72-253, recommending denial of "Conditional Use" as
provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article VIII, Section 1
(11) (e), as hereinafter set forth; and this Commission
deems it essential and desirable to the public convenience
and welfare and finds that the use will not be detrimental
or injurious to the character of the development of the
immediate neighborhood;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the application for a "conditional
use" as provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article VIII,
Section 1 (11) (e), to permit private club known as "Banyan
Bay Club" to be located on tentative plat #793-A -"Miami Club
Apartments", located at 703 N.E. 63rd Street, zoned R-4
(Medium Density Multiple), be and the same is hereby granted,
subject to membership being restricted to residents of the
apartment complex.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of January, 1973.

Applicant: Belco, Ltd.
The Miami Planning Board, at its meeting of November 20, 1972, Item
#5, following an advertised Hearing, adopted Resolution No. 72-253
by an 8 to 1 vote recommending DENIAL for "Conditional Use" as list-
ed in Ordinance No. 6871, ARTICLE VIII, Section 1 (11) (e), to per-
mit private Club known as "Banyan Bay Club" to be located on
Tentative Plat #793-A - "MIAMI CLUB APARTMENTS", located at 703 N. E.
63rd Street, zoned R-4 (Medium Density Multiple) .
Two objections were received in the mail.
A RESOLUTION to provide for this "Conditional Use" has been prepared
by the City Attorney's office and submitted for consideration of the
City Commission.
