A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE PARKWAY OF
S.W. 22ND STREET AT THE INTERSECTION OF
S.W. 13TH AVENUE AND 22ND STREET, AS A
SITE FOR A MONUMENT TO THE CUBAN HERO,
JOAQUIN VICENTE DE AGUILERA; AND FURTHER
PROVIDING THAT ALL PERMITS REQUIRED TO
BE OBTAINED IN CONNECTION WITH THE CON-
STRUCTION OF SAID MONUMENT BE ACQUIRED
AND THE FEES THEREFOR BE PAID AND THAT
THE CITY ASSUME NO OBLIGATION FOR THE
MAINTENANCE OF SAID MONUMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
Mum, FLORIDA:
That the parkway of S.W. 22nd Street at the inter-
section of S.W. 13th Avenue and 22nd Street, is hereby
designated as a site for a monument to the Cuban hero,
Joaquin Vicente De Aguilera, and further providing that
all permits required to be obtained in connection with the
construction of said monument be acquired and the fees there-
for be paid and that the City assume no obligation for the
maintenance of said monument.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of January, 1973.
