RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED
DECEMBER 4, 1972, OF ACME RADIATOR SERVICE
FOR FURNISHING RADIATOR REPAIR, CLEANING
AND REPLACEMENT AS REQUIRED FOR USE BY
THE MOTOR POOL, CITY GARAGE AND FIRE SHOP,
FOR THE PERIOD FROM JANUARY 1, 1973 TO
DECEMBER 31, 1973, AT A TOTAL APPROXIMATE
ANNUAL COST OF $7,000.00 AND AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT
THE PURCHASING AGENT OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, bids were received on December 4, 1972
for furnishing radiator repair, cleaning and replacement as
required for use by the Motor Pool, City Garage and Fire Shop,
for the period from January 1, 1973 to December 31, 1973;
and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of
ACME RADIATOR SERVICE is the best (acceptable) bid and recom-
mends that the same be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received December 4, 1972 of
ACME RADIATOR SERVICE for furnishing radiator repair, cleaning
and replacement as required for use by the Motor Pool, City
Garage and Fire Shop, for the period from January 1, 1973
to December 31, 1973, at a total approximate annual cost of
$7,000.00 be and the same is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized
and directed to instruct the Purchasing Agent of the City of
Miami to issue a purchase order for the service described
in Section 1 hereof.
