A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF
FINANCE TO PAY TO LORETTA R. LOND, WITHOUT
THE ADMISSION OF LIABILITY, THE SUM OF
$139.09 IN FULL AND COMPLETE SETTLEMENT
OF ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS AGAINST THE CITY
OF MIAMI, UPON THE EXECUTION OF A RELEASE
RELEASING THE CITY OF MIAMI FROM ALL CLAIMS
AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, Loretta R. Lond filed a claim against the
City of Miami for damage incurred in the amount of $139.09
for repairs to property owned by her at Apartment No. 16,
5815 N. W. 12 Avenue, in the City of Miami, damaged in the
course of activities by City Police Officers on August 17,
1972; and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the office
of the City Attorney and said office recommends that this
claim be settled for the
sum of $139.09;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is
hereby authorized to pay to, Loretta R. Lond, without the
admission of liability, the sum of $139.09 in full and complete
settlement of all claims and demands against the City of
Miami, upon the execution of a release releasing the City
of Miami from all claims and demands.
