A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF
FINANCE TO PAY TO MRS. HATTIE S. CARTER,
WITHOUT THE ADMISSION OF LIABILITY, THE
SUM OF $48.50 IN FULL AND COMPLETE
SETTLEMENT OF ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS AGAINST
THE CITY OF MIAMI, UPON THE EXECUTION OF A
RELEASE RELEASING THE CITY OF MIAMI FROM ALL
CLAIMS AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, Mrs.. Hattie S. Carter filed a claim against
City of Miami for damage incurred in the amount of $48.50,
for plumbing
owned by her
May 9, 1972;
repairs due to a blocked City sewer on property
at 28 S. W. 11 Street, in the City of 'Miami, on
and
the
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the office
of the City Attorney and said office recommends that this
claim be settled for the sum of $48.50;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is
hereby authorized to pay to Mrs. Hattie S. Carter, without
the admission of liability, the sum of $48.50 in full and
complete settlement of all claims and demands against the
City of Miami, upon the execution of a release releasing the
City of Miami from all claims and demands.
