A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIP.ECTOR OF
FINANCE TO PAY TO MRS. BETTY KASHDON
WITHOUT THE ADMISSION OF LIABILITY, THE
SUM OF $2.50 IN FULL AND COMPLETE
SETTLEMENT OF ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS AGAINST
THE CITY OF MIAMI, UPON THE EXECUTION OF A
RELEASE RELEASING THE CITY OF MIAMI FROM ALL
CLAIMS AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, Mrs. Betty Kashdon filed a claim against the
City of Miami for damage incurred in the amount of $2.50; and
WHEREAS, this claim was for replacement of a mirror in
her residence at Apartment No. 10, 631 N. E. 72 Terrace, broken
during the course of activities by City Police Officers, in
the City of Miami, on June 22, 1972; and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the office
of the City Attorney and said office recommends that this
claim be settled for the sum of $2.50;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is
,hereby authorized to pay to Mrs. Betty Kashdon, without the
admission of liability, the sum of $2.50 in full and complete
settlement of all claims and demands against the City of Miami,
upon the execution of a release releas.Lng the City of Miami
from all claims and demands.
