RESOLUTION NO. 74-1386
A RESOLUTION AUTIHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
FINANCE DIRECTOR TO ALLOCATE $475,000 FROM
THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND -'-UNALLOCATED
FUNDS AND TO PAY THE REQUIRED SLIMS FROM SAID
ALLOCATION TO THE DEFENDANTS, THEIR ATTORNEYS
AND APPRAISERS, IN THE CASE OF CITY OF MIAMI
VS. MAP.70RXE E. WILSON, ET AL., CIVIL ACTION
NO. 73-788, PURSUANT TO THE ORDERS OF THE
COURT.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami is required to pay a sum of
approximately $475,000 to the Defendants, their attorneys and
appraisers, in the case of City of Miami vs. Marjorie E. Wilson,
over and above the amounts already paid; and
WHEREAS, said sum is not presently available from the
1972 Police Facilities Bond Funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Finance Director is hereby
authorized and directed to allocate $475,000 from the capital
improvement fund --unallocated funds and to pay the required sums
from said allocation to the Defendants, their attorneys and
appraisers in the case of City of Miami vs. Marjorie E. Wilson,
et al., Civil Action No. 73-788, pursuant to the Orders of
the Court.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 17 day of DECEMBER 1971.
