IN THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF $41,251.50 FOR EXHIBIT "B" SIEGENDORF BICYCLE PATH; ALLOCATING THE ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF $17,606.50 FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND - UNALLOCATED FUNDS" TO COVER THE ESTIMATED CONTRACT COST; ALLOCATING FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF $1,760.65 TO COVER THE COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE; ALLOCATING FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE ADDI- TIONAL AMOUNT OF $352.85 TO COVER THE COST OF SUCH ITEMS AS ADVERTISING, TEST- ING LABORATORIES, POSTAGE, ETC.; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO":EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM. WHEREAS, sealed bids were received November 27, 1974, for EXHIBIT "B" SIEGENDORF BICYCLE PATH; and WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $41,251.50 bid of A. J. House & Sons, Inc. is the lowest responsible bid and.renomttends that a contract be awarded to said firm; and WHEREAS, funds are available for additional alloca- tion from the account entitled "Capital Improvement Fund - Unallocated Funds" for the estimated amount of the contract, for project expense; and for such items as advertising, testing laboratories, postage, etc; and WHEREAS, funds were previously allocated July 26, 1973, by Resolution No. 73-598 for this project but were insufficient at that time; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. ':`The November 27, 1974 bid of A. J. Section 2. The additional amount of $17,606.50 be, and it is hereby, allocated from the account entitled "Capital Improvement Fund - Unallocated Funds" to cover the estimated cost of the contract. Section 3. The additional amount of $1,760.65 be, and it is hereby allocated from the af'otesaid account to cover the cost of project expense which includes engineer- ing, surveys, and inspection work performed by city forces. Section 4. The additional amount of $352.85 be, and it is hereby, allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the cost of such items as advertising, testing laboratories, postage, etc. Section 5. The City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract on behalf of the City of Miami with A. J. House & Sons, Inc. for the EXHIBIT "B" SIEGENDORF BICYCLE PATH.
