RESOLUTION NO. 74-1381
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED FROM
EDISON PRESS FOR PRINTING 50,000 FOLK FESTIVAL
BROCHURES IN FULL COLOR FOR USE BY THE DEPART-
MENT OF PUBLICITY AND TOURISM IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE ANNUAL FOLK FESTIVAL AT A COST OF
$3,000; FUNDING FOR THIS PRINTING PROVIDED
IN 1974-75 BUDGET; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING DEPARTMENT TO ISSUE
A PURCHASE ORDER FOR THIS PURPOSE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids were
received November 22, 1974 for printing 50,000 folk festival
brochures for use by. the Department of Publicity and Tourism
at the annual folk festival; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended that the
bid of Edison Press be accepted as the bi d most schranitage&irs; to
,thik City; and
WHEREAS, funds for printing of the folk festival
brochures have been provided for in the 1974-75 budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid of Edison Press for thegrinting
of fifty thousand (50,000) Folk Festival Brochures in full
color at a cost of $3,000.00, for use by the Department of
Publicity and Tourism in conjunction with the annual Folk
Festival, be and the same is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized
to instruct the Purchasing Department to issue a Purchasing
Order for the brochures described in Section 1 hereof, funds
for which printing have been provided in the 1974-75 buddpt.
PASSED AND ADOPTED jthis 17 day of DECEMBER , 1974.
