RESOLUTION NO. 74-1376
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE FOR THE
Ar;QUISITION OF A VACANT LOT LOCATED AT
THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION
OF SOUTHWEST 8TH STREET AND 15TH AVENUE
TO BE UTILIZED AS A MINI -PARK PLAZA.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami has developed a plan to improve the
conditions on Southwest 8th Street between Southwest 12th Avenue and 17th
Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the plan calls for store front beautification, street land-
scape, street park and mini -park plaza; and
WHEREAS, there exist a vacant lot located on the southeast corner
at the intersection of Southwest 8th Street and 15th Avenue suitable for the
development of a mini -park plaza.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Sectional. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to negotiate for the acquisition of a vacant lot located at the southeast corner
of the intersection of Southwest 8th Street and 15th Avenue to be utilized as
a mini -park plaza.
