HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-74-1366RESOLUTION NO. 74-1%%S A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING POLICE AND CRIME PREVENTION BOND FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $130, 000 TO FUND SIX CIVIL SERVICE POSITIONS FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR FOR THE DEVELOP- MENTAL ASPECTS OF THE COMPUTER BASED INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR THE COMPONENT OF THE MIAMI MODERN POLICE DEPARTMENT PROGRAM. WHEREAS, on October 9, 1974, the City entered into a Contract with E-Systems of Garland, Texas for the acquisition of two computers to serve the information systems component for the Miami Modern Police Department Program; and WHEREAS, development analysis planning work must be accomplished; and WHEREAS, to accomplish the systems development work, it will be necessary for the City to employ six computer professionals; and WHEREAS, the Civil Service Board has established classifications of Senior Systems Analyst, Systems Programmer II and Systems Programmer I; and WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $130, 000 will be required to fund these positions; and WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available in the Police and Crime Prevention Facility Bond Fund. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1.
