COUNTY, AS A JOINT PROJECT WITH THE CITY OF
MIAMI, TO SET ASIDE UP TO TWENTY (20) ACRES
OF PROPERTY OWNED BY DADE COUNTY FOR THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF 7 TREE DEPOSITORY; AND AU-
THORIZING THE PROPER CITY OFFICIALS TO CON--
PER WItiVDADE COUNTY OFFICIALS#
WHEREAS, Metro Dade County Aviation Department has
and is acquiring twenty (20)acres of land within the City of
Miami west of N. W. 42nd Avenue and north of the East-West
Expressway for a clear zone for aircraft arrivals and departures;
and
being
WHEREAS, due to the purpose for which this land is
acquired and ,the limitation of its uses, a tree depository
would be an appropriate use;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section'l. The City Commission does hereby request
the cooperation of Metropolitan Dade County
i
to utilize all or part of twenty (20) acres of property owned by
Dade County for the establishment of a tree depository for the
interim placement of trees.
Section 2. The proper City Officials are hereby
authorized to confer with the appropriate Dade County Officials
• in developing this project.
