RESOLUTION NO, T4-1356
A RESOLUTION APPLYING ENVIRONMENTAL PRESERVATION
DISTRICTS TO SPECIFIC PARCELS OF LAND WITHIN AN
AREA OF THE CITY OP MIAMI, BETWEEN SOUTH MIAMI
AVENUE AND BISCAYNE SAY, S.E. 15TH ROAD AND THE
INTERSECTION OF DIXIE HIGHWAY AND SOUTH MIAMIK
AVENUE, AS PER EXiIBITS "A" AND "8" ATTACHED
HERETO, AND AUTHORIZING THE BUILDING DIRECTOR TO
INCLUDE SAID PARCELS ON THE OFFICIAL MAP OF
ENVIRONMENTAL PRESERVATION DISTRICTS MAINTAINED
BY THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the Planning Advisory Board at its meeting
of October 16, 1974, following an advertised hearing, adopted
Resolution No. PAB 46-74 by a 4 to 2 vote (one member absent)
recommending the application of Environmental Preservation
Districts to specific parcels of land as hereinafter set forth;
and
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary on
the ground of public need for the preservation of peace, health,
safety and property in the City of Miami to apply Environmental
Preservation Districts to said parcels;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Environmental Preservation
Districts be and are hereby applied to specific parcels of
land within an area of the City of Miami, between South
Miami Avenue and Biscayne Bay, S.E. 15th Road and the
intersection of Dixie Highway and South Miami Avenue as per
Exhibits "A" and "8" attached hereto.
Section 2. The Building Director be, and he is
hereby authorized to include said parcels on the Official Map
of Environmental Preservation Districts maintained by the
Building Department.
