A RESOLUTION GRANTING APPROVAL FOR THE WAIVER
OF DEVELOPMENT OF 44 OF 82 REQUIRED OFF -,3TREET
PARKING SPACES, AS PROVIDED IN ORDINANCE NO.
6871, ARTICLE XXIII, SECTION 2(6), ON LOTS 7
THRU 14 AND 28 THRU 34, BLOCK 14, HIGHLAND PARK
(2-13) LOCATED AT APPROXIMATELY 1150 N.W. 11TH
STREET ROAD, IN CONJUNCTION WITH PROPOSED
"CONGREGATE HOUSING FOR THE ELDERLY", UNDER
CONCURRENT PETITION FOR CONDITIONAL USE
AND VARIANCE; ZONED R-4 (MEDIUM DENSITY MULTIPLE)
DMSTRICT.
WHEREAS;. the Miami Zoning Board, at its meeting of
November 18, 1974, Item #1(b), following an advertised hearing,
adopted Resolution No. ZB 177-74'by a 5 to 0 vote (one member
abstained, one member absent), recommending approval as per
Ordinance No. 6871, Article XXIII, Section 2(6) as hereinafter
set forth; and
WHEREAS, this Commission deems it advisable in the
interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami to grant
this approval on the ground that a refusal would result in
practical difficulties and unnecessary hardship to the
applicant under an R-4 (Medium Density Multiple) District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the application for the waiver of
development of 44 of 82 required off-street parking spaces,
as provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article XXIII, Section 2(6),
on Lots 7 thru 14 and 28 thru 34, Block 14, HIGHLAND PARK
(2-13), located at approximately 1150 N.W. llth Street Road,
in conjunction with proposed "Congregate Housing for the Elderly"
zoned R-4 (Medium Density Multiple) District), be and the same
is hereby granted.
