WHEREAS, there exists.a dangerous situation, at all City of Miami Stadiums brought on by patrons taking glass bottles and metal beverage containers into the stands; and WHEREAS, the Director of the. Department of Public Facilities has recommended the adoption of an Ordinance banning glass bottles or metal containers on City Stadium premises; NOW, THEREFORE, BE ITORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA': Section 1. A new section is hereby added to Article I; "In General.", Chapter 39 of the Code of.the City of Miami, as follows: It shall be unlawful to bring glass bottles or metal containers into • City of Miami Stadiums (Orange Bowl, . Miami Stadium, and Marine. Stadium.) Section 2. Any person violating the provisions of Section l of this Ordinance shall be fined or imprisoned in accordance with Section 3 (aa) of the Charter of the City of Miami'(Chapter 10847, Acts of Florida, 1925, as amended), and Section 1-6 of the Code of'the City of Miami, Florida. Section. tt is'the intention of the City mmission, and it is hereby ordained that' the provisions of this' Ordinance shall become and be Made a part .of the .Code of the City of Miami, Floridat that the sections of this ordinance may be renumbered or relettered to accomplish such intention;. and that the word "ordinance" may be changed to "section'', "article", or other. appropriate word. • Section 4. All Ordinances, Code Sections or :parts thereof in conflict ' are hereby repealed. Section 5.
