RESOLUTION NO.___ 74-1328
A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE CIVIL SERVICE BOARD
TO SUBMIT IN WRITING TO THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 1,1, 1974,
THEIR RECOMMENDATIONS CONCERNING THEIR REQUIRE-
MENTS,IN THE FORM OF PERSONNEL„ EQUIPMENT,
FACILITIES AND FUNDS, NEEDED TO FULLY COMPLY
WITH THE ORDER OF THE UNITED STATES DISTRICT
COURT FOR THE SOUTHERN DISTRICT OF FLORIDA,
IN THE CASE OF FRANIL,IN COHEN, ET AL. VS.
THE CITY OF MIAMI.
WHEREAS, the United States District Court for the
Southern District of Florida has directed the City of Miami
to take positive action in recruiting personnel to be employed
by the City of Miami; and
WHEREAS, the Civil Service Board is charged with
the responsibility for recruiting personnel to be employed
by the City of Miami;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Civil Service Board of the City of
Miami is directed to submit their recommendations concerning
their requirements in the form of personnel, equipment,
facilities and funds, needed to fully comply with the Order
of the United States District Court for the Southern District
of Florida, in the case of Franklin Cohen, et al. vs. The
City of Miami.
Section 2. The Civil Service Board of the City of
Miami is hereby to submit in writing to the Commission of
the City of Miami their recommendations no later than
