RESOLUTION No. 74.1294
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT A GRANT APPLI-
CATION TO THE I?LORYDA PINE ARTS COUNCIL
TO INITIATE A PROJECT ENTITLED "ARTIST-,
I Ndi-RESIDENCE CULTURAL DANCE EDUCATION
PROGRAM" AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING AND DIRECT-
ING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT THE GRANT
AND TO EXECUTE CONTRACTS AND AGREEMENTS WITH
THE CUBAN CULTURAL FOUNDATION NECESSARY TO
IMPLEMENT THE PROJECT UPON RECEIPT OF THE
GRANT.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized and
directed to submit a grant application to the Florida Fine
Arts Council to initiate a project entitled "Artist -In -Residence
Cultural Dance Education Program".
Section 2. The City Manager is further authorized
and directed to accept the grant and to execute contracts and
agreements with the Cuban Cultural Foundation necessary to
implement the project upon receipt of the grant.

1974.
