RESOLUTION NO, � 74-470
A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF
$150,000.00 FROM THE HIGHWAY BOND FUND
TO COVER THE COST OF MATERIALS USED IN
MAINTAINING THE PAVEMENT AT STREET INTER-
SECTIONS.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami has the responsibility
for maintaining the existing pavement at street intersections;
and
WHEREAS, the Operations Division of the Department
of Public Works has a continuing program of inspection and
repaving of such intersections; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to provide adequate funds
to cover the cost of materials used in the aforesaid program;
and
WHEREAS, under Section 56 of the Charter of the
City of Miami the cost of repaving street intersections is
charged to the City at large and is not included in the
assessment allocated to the owners of the property abutting
the streets and therefore it is appropriate that the money
needed to fund the intersection maintenance program should be
provided from the General Obligation Bond Fund for Highway
Improvements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The amount of $150,000.00 be, and it is
hereby, allocated from the Highway Bond Fund to provide for

pavement at street intersections throughout the City of
Miami.
