A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING EIGHT HIGHWAY RIGHT
OF WAY DEEDS OF DEDICATION, CONVEYING TO THE
CITY OF MIAMI FOR THE SOUTH PINEMOUNT SANI-
TARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT, STRIPS OF LAND ALONG
THE WEST SIDE OF NORTHWEST SECOND AVENUE
BETWEEN NORTHWEST 67TH AND NORTHWEST 71ST
STREETS, AND DIRECTING THE PROPER OFFICIAL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI TO RECORD SAME IN THE
PUBLIC RECORDS OF DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami has proposed to install
sanitary sewers in the unsewered portion of Northwest Second
Avenue between Northwest 67th and Northwest 71st Streets; and
WHEREAS, in the design of this improvement, the
best possible location for the sanitary sewer was within the
east 10 feet of private property located on the west side
of Northwest Second Avenue between 67th and 71st Streets; and
WHEREAS, the construction in this location will
reduce the cost that the abutting property owners must pay
for the sewer and their maintenance of the sewer laterals;
and
WHEREAS, highway right of way deeds for the required
footage for such an undertaking have been executed and de-
livered to the City of Miami by the following abutting pro-
perty owners:
1. Saint Matthew Free Will Baptist Church,
Inc. --the east 10 feet of Lot 10, of Block 8, Grove -
land Park (6-91) .
2. Sonny Wright and Veronise J. Wright, his
wife --the east 10 feet of Lot 4, of Block 8,
Groveland Park (9-61) .
3. Robert A. King and Mary King, his wife --
the east 10 feet of Lots 14 and 15, of Block 1,
Groveland Park (9-61) .

4. Izador Varella and Frances Vatella, his wife'-
the east 10 feet of Lot 13, of Block 1, Groveland Park

5. Charles O. Young and Isabell Young, his Wife --
the east 10 feet of Lot 12, of Block 1, Groveland Park (6-91).
6. Augustin Llerena and Pastora Llerena, his wife --
the east 10 feet of Lot 11, of Block 1, Groveland Park
(6-91) .
7. John Richard Cardozo, a single person -- the east
10 feet of Lots 9 and 10, Block 1, Groveland Park (6-91).
8. Martin Suss and Carol Suss, his wife -- the east
10 feet of Lots 6, 7 and 8, Block 1, Groveland Park (6-91).
WHEREAS, in acquiring these deeds, the City of Miami
has now secured total and contiguous 10-foot dedications from
all of the abutting property owners along the west side of North-
west Second Avenue from Northwest 67th to Northwest 71st Streets
needed for the said sanitary sewer improvement; and
WHEREAS, it is now in order for the City Commission
to accept the aforesaid deeds of dedication and to have them
recorded in the Public Records of Dade County, Florida;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI:
Section 1. That the above listed, executed, and de-
livered right of way deeds of dedication for 10-foot strips
of land along the westerly side of Northwest Second Avenue
between 67th and 71st Streets be and the same are hereby ac-
cepted.
Section 2. That the proper official of the City of
Miami be and he is hereby authorized and directed to record

the aforesaid right of way deeds of dedication in the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21 day of NOVEMBER
