RESOLUTION NO. 74-66
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK
PERFORMED BY STONE PAVING COMPANY AT A
TOTAL COST OF $96,032.67; AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE PROPER
OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF MIAMI TO PAY
STONE PAVING COMPANY A BALANCE OF
$10,356.59 AS FULL AND FINAL PAYMENT FOR
THE S.W. 22 STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT
H-4369 (DRAINAGE) IN S.W. 22 STREET HIGH-
WAY IMPROVEMENT H-4369 (DRAINAGE) IN
S.W. 22 STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
H-4369 (DRAINAGE).
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated July 30,
1974 between the City of Miami and STONE PAVING COMPANY; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed
and Stone Paving Company has furnished the required documents
certifying that all bills for labor and materials have been
paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works recommends
that the completed work be accepted and final payment made to
the Contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by STONE
PAVING COMPANY for the construction of S.W. 22 STREET HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT H-4369 (DRAINAGE) be, and is hereby, accepted at
a total cost of $96,032.67.
Section 2. The City Manager be, and is hereby,
authorized to instruct the proper officials of the City of
Miami to pay STONE PAVING COMPANY a balance of $10,356.59
as full and final payment for all work performed and all
materials furnished in connection with the S.W. 22 STREET
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4369 (DRAINAGE) IN S.W. 22 STREET HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H 4369 (DRAINAGE).
