RESOLUTION NO 71 265
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK
PERFORMED BY UNIVERSAL ROAD PLANER CORP.
AT A TOTAL COST OF $96,763.88; AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE PROPER
OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF MIAMI TO PAY
UNIVERSAL ROAD PLANER CORP. A BALANCE OF
$30,841..91 AS FULL AND FINAL PAYMENT FOR
THE HEATER -PLANER PAVING PROJECT - 1974.
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated April 4,
1974 between the City of Miami and UNIVERSAL ROAD PLANER CORP.,
and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed
and Universal Road Planer Corp. has furnished the required
documents certifying that all bills for labor and materials
have been paid in full in connection with the aforesaid
contract; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works recommends
that the completed work be accepted and final payment made
to the Contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by
Universal Road Planer Corp. for the HEATER -PLANER PAVING PRO-
JECT - 1974 be, and is hereby, accepted at a total cost of
$96,763.88.
Section 2. The City Manager be, and is hereby,
authorized to instruct the proper officials of the City of
Miami to pay Universal Road Planer Corp. a balance of
$30,841.91 as full and final payment for all work performed
and all Materials furnished in connection with the HEATER-
PLANER PAVING PROJECT.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this21day of NOVEMBER
1974.
