COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENTS OF THE
GENERAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION, THE SANITATION
EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION, THE FRATERNAL ORDER OF
POLICE AND THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF
FIRE FIGHTERS, AFL-CIO.
WHEREAS, the City Administration has entered into
collective bargaining agreements for two (2) years, effective
October 1, 1974 with the General Employees Association, the
Sanitation Employees Association, the Fraternal Order of Police
and the International Association of Fire Fighters, AFL-CIO; and
WHEREAS, in recognition that December 26, 1975 is the
day after Christmas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Miami
does hereby declare Friday, December 26, 1975, the day after
Christmas an official holiday.
Section 2. The executed collective bargaining agree-
ments be, and are hereby, amended to include the above holiday.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21 day of NOVEMBER , 1974.

authentic Oriental garden de-
signed by Japanfs foremost land-

and donated by Mr. Kiyoshi
Ichimura of Tokyo. Garden includes
ancient Japanese stone lanterns, 13-
tier stone pagoda, 8-foot statue of
"Hotei", Japanese God of prosperity,
and ceremonial teahouse.

acres of exotic vegetation, native

ALICE WAINWRIGHT PARK
Bayside hammock that offers not
only typical southern hardwoods and
bird and animal life, but also an
exposed oolitic limestone ridge
which is the result of an abrupt
change in elevation. This differ-
ence causes a dramatic contrast in
the plant communities found within
the park.
