W• 8th Street and 12th Avenue 'to the Main Entrance at; Jackson"M*armorial Hospital, Section 2. The four (4) designated cab shelters for the embarkation of passengers are: 1. S.W. 8th Street and 12th Avenue 2. Section 5G-59 of the Code of the City of Miami is hereby amended by establishing an 'alternate Use pilot . study for City of Miami Taxicab Certificate Holders to operate can a faxed route from S . The four (4) designated cab shelters for the embarkation of passengers are: 1 S.W. 8th Street and 12th Avenue 2. N.W. 7th Street and 13th Avenue (Robert King High Towers), 3. Cedars of Lebanon Hospital 4. Jackson Memorial Hospital (Main Entrance) Passengers may be picked up only at a designated cab shelter and dropped off anywhere along the route. Section 3. The 'one-way fare, from any of the four (4) designated shelter per passenger with five (5) passengers required. If less than five (5) passengers, the meter fare shall be divided , shall be fifty cents (50f) equally by the number of passengers. Section 4. The official alternate use rate card, with specified rates, issued by the Taxicab Bureau, shall be placed in the display rack when a taxicab is operating on the fixed route established herein. Section 5. This alternate use study shall be conducted for a period of six (6) monchs within which time the route may be amended by the City Manager, if he deems it 'necessary. Section 6. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure on the ground of urgent public need for the preservation of peace, health, safety and. property in the City of Miami. Section 5. The requirement of reading this ordinance on two separate days is hereby dispensed with by a vote of not less than four -fifths of. The Members of the Commission. Section 6.
