A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO SUI3MIT AN APPLICATION TO THE FLORIDA FINE
ARTS COUNCIL TO INITIATE A PROJECT ENTITLED
"ARTIST -IN -RESIDENCE CULTURAL DANCE EDUCA-
TION PROGRAM" AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT THE GRANT AND
EXECUTE CONTRACTS AND AGREEMENTS WITH
THE CUBAN CULTURAL COMMISSION NECESSARY
TO IMPLEMENT THE PROJECT UPON RECEIPT OF
THE GRANT.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Manager is authorized to submit an
application to the Florida Fine Arts Council to initiate a project entitled
"Artist -In -Residence Cultural Dance Education Program".
Section 2. That the City Manager is further authorized to accept
the grant and execute contracts and agreements with the Cuban Cultural
Commission necessary to implement the project upon receipt of the grant.
