RESOLUTION NO
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE
OF $25,000.00 FROM UNEXPENDED REVENUE
SHARING FUNDS FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI SENIOR
ADULT DAY CENTER TO BE ADMINISTERED BY
THE DOUGLAS GARDENS JEWISH HOME FOR THE
AGED OF GREATER MIAMI AT LEGION PARK.
WHEREAS, there are over 48,483 senior citizens in
the City of Miami suffering from medical, social, and psycholo-
gical neglect; and
WHEREAS, a crucial situation exists due to some
nursing homes closing; and
WHEREAS, no agency or group of agencies has been
able to resolve this most complex problem for the elderly whose
needs are
went, but

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION

Section 1. The sum of $25,000.00 from unexpended
Revenue Sharing Funds be, and is hereby, authorized for use
for the City of Miami Senior Adult Day Center to be
administered by the Douglas Gardens Jewish Home for the Aged
of Greater Miami at Legion Park. ,/%/�
