A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE $ID OF D.M.P.
CORPORATION IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT A OF ,
$54,579.68 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF S.W.
27 AVENUE PAVING PROJECT 1974; ALLOCA.-
TING THE AMOUNT OF $31,582.50 FROM THE
ACCOUNT ENTITLED "HIGHWAY BOND FUNDS"
AND $22,997.38 FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED
"STORM SEWER BOND FUNDS" TO COVER THE
ESTIMATED CONTRACT COST; ALLOCATING FROM
SAID "HIGHWAY BOND FUND" THE AMOUNT OF
$3,158.25 AND FROM SAID "STORM SEWER BOND
FUND" THE AMOUNT OF $2,299.74 TO COVER THE
COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE; ALLOCATING FROM
SAID "HIGHWAY BOND FUND" THE AMOUNT OF
$631.25 AND FROM SAID " STORM SEWER BOND
FUNDS" THE AMOUNT OF $459.88 TO COVER THE
COST OF SUCH ITEMS AS ADVERTISING, TESTING
LABORATORIES ,AND POSTAGE;; AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH
SAID FIRM.

WHEREAS, sealed bids were received on October 15,
1974 for the construction of S.W. 27 AVENUE PAVING PROJECT -
1974; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $54,579.88
bid of D.M.P. Corporation is the lowest responsive bid and
recommends that a Contract be awarded to said firm; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from
the account entitled: "Highway Bond Funds" and "Storm Sewer
Bond Funds" for the amount of the Contract, for project expense;
and for such items as advertising, testing laboratories and
postage;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The October 15; 1974 bid of D.M.P. Corp-
oration in the amount of $54,579.88 for the project entitled
S.W. 27 AVENUE PAVING PROJECT - 1974, namely Total Bid of
Proposal, based on unit prices be, and the same is hereby,
accepted at the prices states therein.

Section 2. The amount of $31,582.50 froth the
"Highway Bond Fund" and the amount of $22,997.38 froth the
"Storm Sewer Bond Funds" be, and they are hereby, allocated
to cover the cost of the Contract.
Section 3. The amount of $3,158.25 from the account
entitled "Highway Bond Fund" and the amount of $2,299174 from
the account entitled "Storm Sewer Bond Funds" be, and they
are hereby, allocated to cover the cost of Project Expense
which includes engineering, surveys and inspection work
performed by City Forces.
Section 4. The amount of $631.25 from the account
entitled "Highway Bond Fund" and the amount of $459.88 from
the account entitled "Storm Sewer Bond Funds" be, and they
are hereby, allocated to cover the cost of such items as
advertising, testing laboratories and postage.
Section 5. The City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a Contract on behalf of the City of
Miami with D.M.P. Corporation for the construction of
S.W. 27 AVENUE PAVING PROJECT - 1974.
