IN THE AMOUNT OF $582,510.15 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF N.W. 29-STREET HIGH- WAY IMPROVEMENT H..4361 IN N.W. 29 STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4361; ALLO- CATING THE AMOUNT OF $417,382.65 FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "HIGHWAY BOND FUNDS" AND THE AMOUNT OF $165,127.50 FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "STORM SEWER BOND FUNDS" TO COVER THE CONTRACT COST; ALLOCATING THE ADDI- TIONAL AMOUNT OF $14,445.92 AND THE AMOUNT OF $19,815.30 TO COVER THE COST OF AN ENGINEERING CONSULTANT; ALLOCATING THE ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF $4,847.65 FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "HIGHWAY BOND FUNDS" AND THE AMOUNT OF $3,302.60 FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED STORM SEWER BOND FUNDS" TO COVER THE COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE; ALLOCATING THE ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF $4,487.78 FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "HIGHWAY BOND FUNDS' AND THE AMOUNT OF $3,302.60 FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "STORM SEWER BOND FUNDS" TO COVER THE COST OF SUCH ITEMS AS ADVERTISING, TEST- ING LABORATORIES AND POSTAGE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM. or A. A. 410 WHEREAS, sealed bids were received on October 10, 1974 for the construction of N.W. 29 STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4361 in N.W. 29 STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4361; and WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $582,510.15 bid of G.T.F. Corp. is the lowest responsive bid and recommends that a Contract be awarded to said firm; and WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from the accounts entitled "Highway Bond Funds" and "Storm Sewer Bond Funds" for the amount of the Contract, for Project expense; and for such items as advertising, testing laboratories and postage; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. N.W. 29 STRUT HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT IH=4361, namely Total Alternate Bid of Proposal, based on unit prices be, and the sable is hereby, accepted at the prices stated therein. Section 2. The amount of $417,382.65 from the "Highway Bond Funds" and the amount of $165,127.50 from the "Storm Sewer Bond Funds" be, and they are hereby, allocated to, cover the cost of the Contract. Section 3. The additional amount of $14,445.92 from the account entitled "Highway Bond Funds" and the amount of $19,815.30 from the account entitled "Storm Sewer Bond Funds" be, and they are hereby, allocated to cover the cost of Engineering Consultant. Section 4. The additional amount of $4,847.65 from the account entitled "Highway Bond Funds" and the amount of $3,302.60 from the account entitled "Storm Sewer Bond Funds" be, and they are hereby, allocated to cover the cost of Project Expense, which includes work performed by City Forces. Section 5. The additional amount of $4,487.78 from the account entitled "Highway Bond Funds" and the amount of $3,302.60 from the account entitled "Storm Sewer Bond Funds" be and they are hereby, allocated to cover the cost of such items as advertising, testing laboratories and postage. Section 6. The City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a Contract on behalf of The City of Miami with G.T.F. Corp. for the construction of N.W. 29 STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4361 in N.W. 29 STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT - 2 - 'SUPPORTIVE DOCUME.NTS FOLLOW" DISTRICT H- 436i1 PASSED AND ADOPTED this, . day of 1974.
