A RESOLUTION GRANTING APPROVAL AS PER
ORDINANCE NO. 6871, ARTICLE XVIII-1, TO PERMIT
CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW FIRE STATION NO. 6
AT 3600 NORTHWEST SEVENTH AVENUE,
TRACT "A", MOORE PARK (86-45) AS PER
PLANS ON FILE, SUBJECT TO SITE PLAN
APPROVAL BY THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT
AND REMOVAL OF THE MELALEUCA TREES
AS SHOWN ON THE LANDSCAPE PLAN; ZONED
P-R (PUBLIC PARK AND RECREATION).
WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board,
at its meeting of October 2, 1974, Item #2, following an ad-
vertised hearing, adopted Resolution No. PAB 44-74 by a six
to zero vote (one member absent) recommending as per Ordin-
ance No. 6871, Article XVIII-1, construction of a new Fire
Station #6 at 3600 Northwest Seventh Avenue, Tract "A",
Moore Park (86-45) as per plans on file, as hereinafter set
forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission finds it advisable
and in the best interest of the inhabitants of the City of
Miami to approve construction of a new Fire Station #6 at 3600
Northwest Seventh Avenue, Tract "A", Moore Park (86-45);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The request as per Ordinance No. 6871,
Article XVIII-1, to construct a new Fire Station #6 at 3600
Northwest Seventh Avenue, Tract "A", Moore Park (86-45) as
per plans on file, subject to site plan approval by the Plan-
ning Department and removal of the Melaleuca trees as shown
