A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED
SEPTEMBER 13, 1974 FOR FURNISHING FENCING
FOR DAY CARE CENTERS AT MOORE, EATON AND
SHENANDOAH PARKS TO FENCE MASTERS, INC. AT
A COST OF $4,956.00; ALLOCATING THIS AMOUNT
FROM FUNDS MADE AVAILABLE THROUGH THE
FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING FUND; AND AUTHORIZ-
ING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHAS-
ING DEPARTMENT TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER FOR
SAME AFTER DETERMINING THAT FUNDS BUDGETED
FOR THIS PURPOSE ARE AVAILABLE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids
were received September 13, 1974 for furnishing fencing for
DAY CARE CENTERS at Moore, Eaton and Shenandoah Parks for
use by the Department of Parks and Recreation; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to eighteen (18)
potential suppliers and four (4) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid
of FENCEMASTERS, INC. at a cost of $4,956.00 be accepted since
it is the most advantageous bid to the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid of FENCE MASTERS, INC. for furnish-
ing fencing for DAY CARE CENTERS at Moore, Eaton and Shenandoah
Parks at a cost of $4,956.00 be, and is hereby, accepted.
Section 2. The City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to instruct the Purchasing Department to issue a
Purchase Order for same after determining that funds budgeted
for this purpose are available which are to be allocated from
