RESOLUTION NO.74`1198
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF CONCO,
INC.-O'BRIEN MANUFACTURING DIVISION FOR
FURNISHING 1,000 FEET OF HIGH PRESSURE
HOSE I'OR USE BY THE GARAGE DIVISION OF
THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC PROPERTIES AT A
COST OF $1,970.00; AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANGER TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING
DEPARTMENT TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER
FOR SAME, AFTER DETERMINING THAT FUNDS
BUDGETED FOR THIS PURPOSE ARE AVAILABLE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids
were received September 17, 1974 for furnishing 1,000 feet
of high pressure sewer hose for use by the Garage Division
of the Department of Public Properties; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to seventeen (17)
potential suppliers and two (2) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the award
be made to CONCO, INC.-O'BRIEN MANUFACTURING DIVISION for
furnishing 1,000 feet of high pressure hose for use by the
Garage Division of the Department of Public Properties at an
initial cost of $1,970.00 since it was the most advantageous
bid to the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid of CONCO, INC.-O'BRIEN
MANUFACTURING DIVISION for furnishing 1,000 feet of high
pressure hose at a cost of $1,970.00 be, and is hereby,
accepted.
Section 2. The City Manager be, and is hereby
authorized to instruct the Purchasing Department to seise
a Purchase Order for same, after determining that
